I’m not gonna be using this anymore, bye!

Exploring Paklenica.

The drive to Krka was probably the second most daunting thing I’ve done since we’ve been in Croatia. I may talk big about mountains (and I love them, truly I do) but truthfully, I am utterly petrified of heights so getting behind the wheel and getting us to Krka was a big thing for me. But I needed the practise if I’m to do this by myself in a few short weeks time, and ultimately doing shit that scares the hell out of you - to the point where you think you’re gonna break down and cry - is so, so worth it. All that stress you carry from your every day just melts away when you immerse yourself in nature; waist-deep in crystal clear water, watching the fish swim by your feet.

Kayaking down the Cetina river canyon in Omiš. The water here comes straight off the mountain and it was SO cold!

We drove from Pula down almost the entire length of the country. The plan was to get the ferry to the national forest of Mljet once we got to Dubrovnik, but sadly almost all of the island tours have ended with the season and no one was willing to take us. So instead, we spent the day in Dubrovnik’s old town; drinking cold lemon beer and marvelling at the architecture. The spiralling alleyways were my favourite part of the city.

Rented a car to travel/live in. After parking in the dark on day one, this is where we found ourselves waking up on day two.

Croatia bound ☁️🌥☁️

A bird’s eye view of Brighton from the train.

It was my last day at Occult Tattoo today. It kinda sucked.

I had a dream that the cliffs fell into the sea.

Drawing in my studio space // It’s my last week at Occult Tattoo and I’m pretty sad. But I’m looking forward to spending some time with my best friend in Croatia next week after two months of working non-stop and I couldn’t be more excited and relieved about that.
